The acts of peace and kindness that I can do as a gift.!

  • As a youth I know that Peace and kindness are part of our daily life's. Peace is a symbol of a good relationship to other people. Kindness is the act or the state of being kind and marked by charitable behavior, marked by mild disposition, pleasantness, tenderness and concern for others.
  • For me,  the peace that I can do as gift are being honest, obedience, understand and accept the opinion of others or accept them who they are. Because if you have a "Peace" it will make your life easier and also you can do what you want because you will never bothered. I want to encourage the people to make their mind peacefully.
  •  Kindness, I think it is a kind of attitude that totally  gives value in other persons. For me in "Kindness" I can do as a gift is helping people as I can. When I Help people I'm  not expecting a reward from what I've made but I do it willingly . That's what I want to spread in our Earth that kindness must be get of everybody and also the peace.        So that we have a beautiful world.!!

The things that I will do at home or school to trash waste.!

Today our world is getting smaller. Why? It is because there are so many of us inhabiting the Earth. And as we grow in number, the world is so filling up with things that are unpleasant to our eyes and there's no other done but the GARBAGE. The mostly problem in our environment because where there people, there is garbage. Garbage that can be seen anywhere.

As a student, I know that "Cleanliness is next to Godliness". So, the things I can do in our school to reduce trash waste. I put the garbage in their proper home and I segregate it into biodegradable and non-biodegradable because in our community they give an statement about segregation, they said that  "no collection when there's no segregation " So,  I and all of the students in Lupon Vocational High School aware by throwing garbage properly. And also in our home, I made the same, we have our own compose pit where we put our garbage and segregate the biodegradable and non-biodegradable.

"Treat me like your boyfriend and girlfriend don't throw me away" :by: GARBAGE. When I read this kind of saying I proudly says that I like It. Why? Because it gives a true meaning, Can you do throwing your gf/bf anywhere with no explanation? I think, you cant because instead of throwing them away , you put it in a right direction. I hope that you also make the same situation by throwing garbage in a right place.

In addition, We have a lot of suitable ways to prevent trash waste.Like, Reuse the materials that can be use, or Recycle those things that it can be useful and also to burn it or bury it in a landfill.

The Things that I do to keep my body healthy and in our planet healthy.!

"Health is Wealth" , So that I want my body healthy, but I know I have to learn the rules to maintain it.
  • I want to trained my self eat a leafy vegetables. Eat plenty of protein, fruits, and whole grains.
  •  Sleep at night at least 8 hours.
  • Avoid eating junk foods that can cause any diseases and maintain to exercise regularly.
  • And also the thing that we must know to maintain our body healthy is to  be aware of the emotions that we felt.
                                            "Have a healthy planet"
  • As now, our Air, Land and Water are already polluted. We breath a polluted air it is because of the carbon dioxide that usually used of the industries, The land is also polluted because of the toxic chemicals or the waste that left or dumped to our land, and The water also polluted because  of the sewage and waste water, industrial waste, marine dumping and etc.
  • So now, as a youth I want to discipline my self in throwing garbage and cleaning the house. And learn to use the 3R, it is the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle of the materials that can be use again.

The Goals or Accomplishment I'd like to reach or attain in this year.!

  • People have their own Goals in Life and they want to reach it.And also I've been part of them.
  • As, a student the first goals I want two attain in this year 2010 is to become a part of the graduating student that can "march" in this coming March 2010. Because this kind of event is the most special for me in the sense that this year is the moment of triumph after the years of hard work but I know this part of achievement is to be considered a milestone and I want to continue the journey to pursue my dreams and I always remember the values and principles that were I imparted in high school. Whatever happen I will become a stronger persons and overcome the challenges in life by my strength of character, perseverance and faith in the almighty God.
  • Second I want also to find a summer job after of the graduation, not for my family but for my self. I will use the money for my allowance going to Davao where I continue the journey of  my life in college.

People that influence me most Throughout My Life!!

    • My Family is one of the most people that influenced me throughout my life because without them a "Silent Girl" will not born and grow a better young lady. They are the one that help me to overcome the trials that I encounter in my young age. When I feel failure only my family that give me strength and courage to continue the journey in my life. Even though their sometimes I made a decisions of thinking some nonsense idea to end up my problem but when their pictures appear in my mind the idea was change and I told my self that I will never give up. And I will do anything to continue the journey and face the reality or  challenges, although it is so hard to achieve but I will do it for my family  because I know whatever happen my family are the one to comfort and support me of what will happen in the future.

My Reaction about the article of NZ student accepts $32,000 bid for virginity.

I felt shocked and very much disappointed when I read the article..... Can you imagine, students were having sex just to pay their tuition fees.Their morals are being degraded. They will be free in paying their schools obligation but the most terrible thing they did is it will be the exchange of their virginity.Maybe they did it as their escape to their problem but in reality they will be sacrificing immorality.

Losing virginity is not a good examples in a woman but we must accept  that nowadays majority of the teens  in the age of 18 below are already not virgin maybe they think that it is a correct thing to do and for their curiosity in the word of sex but they don't think the possible things to happen and for the illness that they can get in having sex for the different  people and they don't think also for the reactions of people if they know that you are not virgin anymore their respect will be lost.

As a woman, the word  Virginity is very important in the sense that  we  keep our body and our thoughts pure as we trust in God's perfect plan for our life. It is God's will that we should be sanctified that we should avoid sexual immorality that each of us must learn how to control our own selves in a way that is holy and sacred.

Does eating carrots help improve eyesight?

Good news for carrot lovers out there! Yes, eating carrots do help improve eyesight. Carrots have carotene, which is converted by the body to vitamin A. Vitamin A is essential for the production of visual purple --- a photochemical substance, of a purplish red color contained in the retina of human eyes and in the eyes of most animals, that is quickly bleached by light, passing through the colors, red, orange, and yellow and then disappearing. Visual Purple helps a person see in the dark.
Without vitamin A, a person could develop night blindness or poor vision at night or in dim light.

The 600 million year old Great Barrier Reef could be seen from outer space? Astronauts on space flights were amazed to learn that they could clearly see the giant coral reef from their space rockets. The Great Barrier Reef, which extends for 2,028 kilometer (1,260 miles) along the coast of Queensland in north-eastern Australia and which covers an area of 208,000 square kilometer (80,000 square miles), supports a greater density of life per given area than anywhere else on earth.

The great Barrier Reef is composed of millions and millions of tiny stony cups, home to coral polyps - small animals related to anemones and jelly fishes.

What is the fiercest freshwater fish?

What else but the infamous piranha! These ferocious fish live in rivers in tropical Central and South America. Piranhas are only about twelve inches long (30 cm) but a group or a shoal of hundreds attacking together can overwhelm and devour a much larger animal in just seconds! Their weapons are their extremely sharp triangular-shaped teeth which they use to hack the flesh off their unfortunate target. Although piranhas are more known for their aggressiveness, some species of this fish, however, are relatively harmless and feed only on plants.

How does a cactus survive in a desert?

Are you familiar with cactus? These are special plants which live in the deserts of North and Central America. The structure of their body enables them to survive the dry, the waterless, and rough condition of the desserts. They have large, thick stems that have spines or scales instead of leaves. Since cacti ( plural for cactus) do not have leaves, they do not lose much water through transpiration. And as most cacti are spiny, they could not be easily eaten by hungry9 and thirsty) desert animals. Also, the stems of most cacti are wrinkled or furrowed which allows them to expand with stored water after a rainstorm.

I feel most happy when the times the family of my mother and father side will be okay. I feel angry when the time that my own things well be destroyed by the careless persons. My greatest fear in life is the word of DEATH it is because I'm not prepare for it. My greatest worry now that I'm a teenager are being totally perfect lady, be responsible andindependent. Activity No. 3

    What is Identity?

Identity is the picture you have in yourself. It is the result of literally thousands of dialogues with yourself and the people you meet during your lifetime. And it is not something that you can simply demand of yourself. It's development depends on your ability to go through life's different sittings.

    The Youth

Youth is not entirely a time of life- it is a state of mind. It is not wholly a matter of ripe cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It is a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions, a freshness of the deep springs of life. It means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of an appetite for adventure over love of case.
Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old only by deserting their ideals. Years may wrinkles the soul. Worry, doubt , self-distrust, fear and despair these are the long, long years that how the head and turn the growing spirit back to dust.
Whatever your years, there is in every beings heart the love of wonder, the undaunted challenge of events the unfailing child like appetite for what's next, and the joy and game of life. You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as yourself - confidence, as old as you, fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair. In the central place of every heart there is a recording chamber; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope , cheer and courage, so long are you young.
When the wires are all down and your heart is covered with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism , then, and then only are you grown old.
Youth is the virgin morning, the bedtime of life;it's the fresh immaculate clouds, the dazzling expanding sun, the cool silvery moon upon which a child's slight in focused with woman and fascination.
Youth is the first dance you have had, the first stealthy date, the nervous kiss. It's passion burning like fire. It's holding hands in semi-private room and talking with your eyes because mere words have miserable failed. It's tossing in bed, numbering stolen scenes and sleepless night. It's the first reluctant parting between young lovers. It's possessiveness and jealousy and petty quarrels.

    An Environmental Crisis

    source:www.google.com

Several years ago, a freak flood inundated Ormoc City in Leyte. There was little time to flee many of the coastal city's residents were still asleep. When the flood subsided more than 4000 people lay dead. The flooding was eventually traveled to the city's denuded watersheds, but no illegal logger was ever made to account for these deaths. And the tragedy did not stop illegal loggers and their codlers from further reducing the country's depleted forest cover.
For years environmental groups have been raising an alarm on the country's rapidly dwindling forest cover. Illegal logging, slash-and-burn farming and development have destroyed much of the country's forest. The signs of destruction are hard to miss: scorched earth, balding hills, heavily silted bodies of water that overflow in the briefest downpour. The destruction of natural habitats has also led to the extinction of certain species with a number of others on the endangered list.
With the latest disaster, there will be some noise
about intensifying the campaign against illegal loggers. But a death toll of 18 may be too low to discourage these who make a living out of destroying vital watersheds. Illegal loggers in lucrative, few people get caught, and no one is prosecuted for the deadly floods that result from heavily logged hillsides. This is an environmental crisis that calls of immediate government attention.

I've Learned About Islam, Ramadan and Hajj.....

When I search in Google about Islamic Religion I learned that Ramandan began with Prophet Muhammad the founder of Islam who was born in 570 CE in the Arabian city of Mecca. Orphaned at a young age, Muhammad was reared by his uncle Abu Talib. The boy grew up to be a merchant, as well as a shepherd. He was first married by age 25.

    Ramadan
is the month of obligatory daily fasting in Islam it is the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar. Daily fasts begin at dawn and end with sunset. They perform Special nightly prayers called, Taraweeh prayers. The entire Quran is recited in these prayers in Mosques all around the world. This month provides an opportunity for Muslims to get closer to God. The muslim should try to see not what displeases Allah, speak no evil, hear no evil, do no evil, and Look to Allah with fear and hope. Most of the Muslim do this every year it is because for them it is the only way to asking forgiveness to allah for the sins or mistakes they made. Muslims must perform these 5 duties The Shahada, Salat, Zakat, Siyam and Hajj it is because these are the Five Pillars of Faith in Islam .

The Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is made obligatory in the 9th year of Hijra. It is also an act of worship just like Salat(five daily prayers) and Sawm (fasting in the month of Ramadan). They are 3 types of Hajj, the Hajj Mufrad, Hajj
    Tamattu, Hajj Qiran.

Therefore Islam is the predominant religion in the Middle East,North Africa and large part of Asia.

The Five Pillars of Faith and The Major Religious Events in Islam

The Five Pillars of Faith of Islam are:

    1. Shahada (affirmation) -There is nothing worthy of worship save Allah and Muhammad isthe Messenger of God".
    2. Salat (prayer)-The duty to worship the One God in prayer five times each day.
    3. Zakat (almsgiving) - The duty to give away alms and to help the needy.
    4. Siyam (fasting) - The duty to keep the fast of Ramadan.
    5. Hajj (pilgrimage) - The duty to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime.

The Major Religious Events of Islam are:
    1. Ramadan - Month of Fasting
    2. Laylat al-Quadr - Towards the end of Ramadan, Muslims observe the "Night of Power," which is when the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to Muhammad.
    3. Eid al Fitr - At the end of Ramadan "The Festival of Fast-Breaking."
    4. Hajj - Pilgrimage in Mecca
    5. Day of Arafat - During one day of the Hajj, pilgrims gather at the Plain of Arafat to seek God's mercy, and Muslims elsewhere fast for the day.
    6. Eid al Adha - At the end of the annual pilgrimage, Muslims celebrate "The Festival of Sacrifice."

    Key Components of Islam

    The RAmadan and Hajj

*Ramadan- is a month-long Islamic religious observance commemorated by over one billion Muslims worldwide, marked with fasting, prayer and reflection. The term Ramadan was coined from the name of the ninth month -- which means "intense heat" or "scorched ground" -- in the Islamic calendar. It is also one of the holy months in the Islamic calendar. Fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam. The month is spent by Muslims fasting during the daylight hours from dawn to sunset. The name came from the time before the Islamic calendar, when the month of Ramadan fell in the summer. Fasting during this month is often thought figuratively to burn away all sins.Ramadan is a time for spiritual purification achieved through fasting, self-sacrifice and prayers. It is concludes with a 3-day festival known as "Eid" or "Eid ul-Fitr," which literally means "the feast of the breaking/to break the fast." The holiday marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and is a culmination of the month-long struggle towards a higher spiritual state.

*Hajj- or pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj was made obligatory in the 9th year of Hijra. It is also an act of worship just like Salat (five daily prayers) and Sawm (fasting in the month of Ramadan). Muslims from all over the world gather in Mecca in the last month of Muslim calendar and worship Allah. Hajj is a special worship that lasts for several days. This is an occasion that brings Muslims of all countries, colors, and races to one place – the Ka’ba. This is a unique opportunity of worshiping Allah collectively in a large gathering at one place. It is currently the largest annual pilgrimage in the world, and is the fifth pillar of Islam,a religious duty that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslims who can afford to do so. The Hajj is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people, and their submission to God (Allah in the Arabic language). The pilgrimage occurs from the 7th to 13th day of Dhual-Hijja, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. The Hajj is associated with the life of Islamic prophet Muhammad from the 7th century, but the ritual of pilgrimage to Mecca is considered by Muslims to stretch back thousands of years to the time of Ibrahim(Abraham).

    Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover

This kind of metaphorical phrases usually forgotten. It is because people now are so judgmental they easily judge those people based on it's appearance. "Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover" means that we must know first the people and read them before we can judge.

But I'm so lucky it is because my parents are still at my side although they are separated and have their own family they never forget me as their child and also I have grandparents who support me in financially.
There's some people thinks that I'm good and cannot do any mistakes but as a human frankly says "I made a lot of mistakes" and " I have encounter many problems".There's a time that I want to give up when i feel discouraged for those people who are so judgmental, they judge me in base of my appearance and those people who are started talking at my back. But I told my self that "insecurities never brings me down" and I don't care what they say about me it is because they only proves that they are obsess to make story about me.

Does Laughter is the best medicine?

In my experience I believe that "LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE" because it is only the one to stop rushing my tears when I hurting so much but also their are times that for me "LAUGHTER IS NOT THE BEST MEDICINE". Why I can say this? It is because we are always pretending that we are happy, talking a lot,& laughing out loud but at the end of the day we realized that we always find our self alone, encountering the crucial truth that we to broken inside and that not even a million laughter can take it way..

    Does Dating part of Etiquette?

Oh!Yes is just like etiquette in any other situation. It helps to know the "rules". You feel more confident and comfortable when you know the accepted courteous customs. Example: Sometimes if a boy has a girl in mind whom he would like ask for a date. He could begin with a small date. He might walk home from school with her or invite her to have a coke after school or goes on a group date to a picnic or a game.

    What is Life?

One of the important things of life is to know how to keep problems from tackling it first. It is also not a great sacrifices o duties but of little things which smiles, kindnesses and also small obligations given habitually. In life when we got confidence the stage was gone. When we was sure of losing we won. When we needed people the most they left us. When we learn to dry our tears we found a shoulder to cry on. And also when we mastered the skill of hating somebody started loving us.
    THAT IS LIFE ALL ABOUT!!!!!
