I've Learned About Islam, Ramadan and Hajj.....

When I search in Google about Islamic Religion I learned that Ramandan began with Prophet Muhammad the founder of Islam who was born in 570 CE in the Arabian city of Mecca. Orphaned at a young age, Muhammad was reared by his uncle Abu Talib. The boy grew up to be a merchant, as well as a shepherd. He was first married by age 25.

Ramadan
is the month of obligatory daily fasting in Islam it is the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar. Daily fasts begin at dawn and end with sunset. They perform Special nightly prayers called, Taraweeh prayers. The entire Quran is recited in these prayers in Mosques all around the world. This month provides an opportunity for Muslims to get closer to God. The muslim should try to see not what displeases Allah, speak no evil, hear no evil, do no evil, and Look to Allah with fear and hope. Most of the Muslim do this every year it is because for them it is the only way to asking forgiveness to allah for the sins or mistakes they made. Muslims must perform these 5 duties The Shahada, Salat, Zakat, Siyam and Hajj it is because these are the Five Pillars of Faith in Islam .

The Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is made obligatory in the 9th year of Hijra. It is also an act of worship just like Salat(five daily prayers) and Sawm (fasting in the month of Ramadan). They are 3 types of Hajj, the Hajj Mufrad, Hajj
Tamattu, Hajj Qiran.

Therefore Islam is the predominant religion in the Middle East,North Africa and large part of Asia.

What kind of abaya should I wear during hajj? I know that it is very hot down there and it may be uncomfortable to wear a black abaya. Any suggestions? What colour, type of hijab, material etc should I wear? How about shoes and undergarments?
