The Youth

Youth is not entirely a time of life- it is a state of mind. It is not wholly a matter of ripe cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It is a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions, a freshness of the deep springs of life. It means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of an appetite for adventure over love of case.
Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old only by deserting their ideals. Years may wrinkles the soul. Worry, doubt , self-distrust, fear and despair these are the long, long years that how the head and turn the growing spirit back to dust.
Whatever your years, there is in every beings heart the love of wonder, the undaunted challenge of events the unfailing child like appetite for what's next, and the joy and game of life. You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as yourself - confidence, as old as you, fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair. In the central place of every heart there is a recording chamber; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope , cheer and courage, so long are you young.
When the wires are all down and your heart is covered with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism , then, and then only are you grown old.
Youth is the virgin morning, the bedtime of life;it's the fresh immaculate clouds, the dazzling expanding sun, the cool silvery moon upon which a child's slight in focused with woman and fascination.
Youth is the first dance you have had, the first stealthy date, the nervous kiss. It's passion burning like fire. It's holding hands in semi-private room and talking with your eyes because mere words have miserable failed. It's tossing in bed, numbering stolen scenes and sleepless night. It's the first reluctant parting between young lovers. It's possessiveness and jealousy and petty quarrels.

An Environmental Crisis

source:www.google.com

Several years ago, a freak flood inundated Ormoc City in Leyte. There was little time to flee many of the coastal city's residents were still asleep. When the flood subsided more than 4000 people lay dead. The flooding was eventually traveled to the city's denuded watersheds, but no illegal logger was ever made to account for these deaths. And the tragedy did not stop illegal loggers and their codlers from further reducing the country's depleted forest cover.
For years environmental groups have been raising an alarm on the country's rapidly dwindling forest cover. Illegal logging, slash-and-burn farming and development have destroyed much of the country's forest. The signs of destruction are hard to miss: scorched earth, balding hills, heavily silted bodies of water that overflow in the briefest downpour. The destruction of natural habitats has also led to the extinction of certain species with a number of others on the endangered list.
With the latest disaster, there will be some noise
about intensifying the campaign against illegal loggers. But a death toll of 18 may be too low to discourage these who make a living out of destroying vital watersheds. Illegal loggers in lucrative, few people get caught, and no one is prosecuted for the deadly floods that result from heavily logged hillsides. This is an environmental crisis that calls of immediate government attention.

I've Learned About Islam, Ramadan and Hajj.....

When I search in Google about Islamic Religion I learned that Ramandan began with Prophet Muhammad the founder of Islam who was born in 570 CE in the Arabian city of Mecca. Orphaned at a young age, Muhammad was reared by his uncle Abu Talib. The boy grew up to be a merchant, as well as a shepherd. He was first married by age 25.

Ramadan
is the month of obligatory daily fasting in Islam it is the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar. Daily fasts begin at dawn and end with sunset. They perform Special nightly prayers called, Taraweeh prayers. The entire Quran is recited in these prayers in Mosques all around the world. This month provides an opportunity for Muslims to get closer to God. The muslim should try to see not what displeases Allah, speak no evil, hear no evil, do no evil, and Look to Allah with fear and hope. Most of the Muslim do this every year it is because for them it is the only way to asking forgiveness to allah for the sins or mistakes they made. Muslims must perform these 5 duties The Shahada, Salat, Zakat, Siyam and Hajj it is because these are the Five Pillars of Faith in Islam .

The Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is made obligatory in the 9th year of Hijra. It is also an act of worship just like Salat(five daily prayers) and Sawm (fasting in the month of Ramadan). They are 3 types of Hajj, the Hajj Mufrad, Hajj
Tamattu, Hajj Qiran.

Therefore Islam is the predominant religion in the Middle East,North Africa and large part of Asia.

4. Siyam (fasting) - The duty to keep the fast of Ramadan.
5. Hajj (pilgrimage) - The duty to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime.

The Major Religious Events of Islam are:

Key Components of Islam

The RAmadan and Hajj

*Ramadan- is a month-long Islamic religious observance commemorated by over one billion Muslims worldwide, marked with fasting, prayer and reflection. The term Ramadan was coined from the name of the ninth month -- which means "intense heat" or "scorched ground" -- in the Islamic calendar. It is also one of the holy months in the Islamic calendar. Fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam. The month is spent by Muslims fasting during the daylight hours from dawn to sunset. The name came from the time before the Islamic calendar, when the month of Ramadan fell in the summer. Fasting during this month is often thought figuratively to burn away all sins.Ramadan is a time for spiritual purification achieved through fasting, self-sacrifice and prayers. It is concludes with a 3-day festival known as "Eid" or "Eid ul-Fitr," which literally means "the feast of the breaking/to break the fast." The holiday marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and is a culmination of the month-long struggle towards a higher spiritual state.

*Hajj- or pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj was made obligatory in the 9th year of Hijra. It is also an act of worship just like Salat (five daily prayers) and Sawm (fasting in the month of Ramadan). Muslims from all over the world gather in Mecca in the last month of Muslim calendar and worship Allah. Hajj is a special worship that lasts for several days. This is an occasion that brings Muslims of all countries, colors, and races to one place – the Ka’ba. This is a unique opportunity of worshiping Allah collectively in a large gathering at one place. It is currently the largest annual pilgrimage in the world, and is the fifth pillar of Islam,a religious duty that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslims who can afford to do so. The Hajj is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people, and their submission to God (Allah in the Arabic language). The pilgrimage occurs from the 7th to 13th day of Dhual-Hijja, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. The Hajj is associated with the life of Islamic prophet Muhammad from the 7th century, but the ritual of pilgrimage to Mecca is considered by Muslims to stretch back thousands of years to the time of Ibrahim(Abraham).

Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover

This kind of metaphorical phrases usually forgotten. It is because people now are so judgmental they easily judge those people based on it's appearance. "Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover" means that we must know first the people and read them before we can judge.

But I'm so lucky it is because my parents are still at my side although they are separated and have their own family they never forget me as their child and also I have grandparents who support me in financially.
There's some people thinks that I'm good and cannot do any mistakes but as a human frankly says "I made a lot of mistakes" and " I have encounter many problems".There's a time that I want to give up when i feel discouraged for those people who are so judgmental, they judge me in base of my appearance and those people who are started talking at my back. But I told my self that "insecurities never brings me down" and I don't care what they say about me it is because they only proves that they are obsess to make story about me.

Does Laughter is the best medicine?

In my experience I believe that "LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE" because it is only the one to stop rushing my tears when I hurting so much but also their are times that for me "LAUGHTER IS NOT THE BEST MEDICINE". Why I can say this? It is because we are always pretending that we are happy, talking a lot,& laughing out loud but at the end of the day we realized that we always find our self alone, encountering the crucial truth that we to broken inside and that not even a million laughter can take it way..

Does Dating part of Etiquette?

Oh!Yes is just like etiquette in any other situation. It helps to know the "rules". You feel more confident and comfortable when you know the accepted courteous customs. Example: Sometimes if a boy has a girl in mind whom he would like ask for a date. He could begin with a small date. He might walk home from school with her or invite her to have a coke after school or goes on a group date to a picnic or a game.

What is Life?

One of the important things of life is to know how to keep problems from tackling it first. It is also not a great sacrifices o duties but of little things which smiles, kindnesses and also small obligations given habitually. In life when we got confidence the stage was gone. When we was sure of losing we won. When we needed people the most they left us. When we learn to dry our tears we found a shoulder to cry on. And also when we mastered the skill of hating somebody started loving us.
THAT IS LIFE ALL ABOUT!!!!!
